Sweet jasm<strong>in</strong>e, cotton, <strong>in</strong>digo, <strong>and</strong> plants of many a name,<br />
Cress, trumpet-flower, grow all around like tongues of golden flame.<br />
Yea, every k<strong>in</strong>d of flower that grows <strong>in</strong> water or on l<strong>and</strong>,<br />
In <strong>and</strong> about this lovely lake lo <strong>and</strong> behold they st<strong>and</strong>.<br />
There crocodiles <strong>and</strong> water-beasts abide of every sort,<br />
Red deer <strong>and</strong> other animals for water do resort.<br />
Turmeric, camphor, panick-seed, the liquorice-plant, <strong>and</strong> all<br />
Most fragrant seeds <strong>and</strong> grasses grow with stalks exceed<strong>in</strong>g tall.<br />
There lions, tigers, elephants a seek<strong>in</strong>g for a mate,<br />
