Indo-Sweden Collaboration in Healthcare<br />
The Confederation<br />
of Indian Industry<br />
organized an<br />
interactive session with<br />
a visiting delegation<br />
f r o m S w e d e n , i n<br />
partnership with the<br />
Swecare Foundation<br />
on 1 <strong>February</strong> in New<br />
Delhi. The Swecare<br />
foundation, a semigovernmental<br />
and non-profit organization is Sweden’s<br />
official export promotion organization for healthcare<br />
and life sciences.<br />
A strong Swedish delegation led by Mrs. Maria Larsson,<br />
Minister of Public Health and Elderly Care, Sweden,<br />
along with the top management from major healthcare<br />
and medical technology companies visited India from<br />
31 January – 3 <strong>February</strong>. The delegation interacted<br />
with their Indian counterparts from the healthcare and<br />
medical technology<br />
industry.<br />

interaction united<br />
representatives from research, public and private<br />
sectors in a discussion on common healthcare<br />
challenges and potential solutions within the focus<br />
areas of pharmaceuticals, e-health, infection control,<br />
and healthcare management.<br />
The delegates discussed common challenges for the<br />
healthcare sector and explored opportunities for future<br />
collaborations to promote and strengthen areas of<br />
mutual interest.<br />
