Classes in the MS in management program are <strong>of</strong>fered online and at <strong>College</strong> Park and<br />

the Shady Grove Center. Students should check the current Graduate Schedule <strong>of</strong> Classes<br />

to determine when courses will be <strong>of</strong>fered at specific locations throughout the<br />

Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.<br />

Students who first complete the entire MS in management degree program and meet<br />

all requirements for graduation will be eligible to earn an MBA, in either the regular<br />

or executive format, with only an additional 18–24 semester hours <strong>of</strong> coursework. The<br />

MBA is <strong>of</strong>fered online. More information on the dual degree program is on p. 89.<br />

Executive dual degree programs are described on pp. 95–96.<br />

Curriculum Requirements<br />

Noncredit Courses<br />

All degree-seeking students are required to complete the noncredit course UCSP 610<br />

Library Skills for the Information Age within their first 6 credits <strong>of</strong> study. Students<br />

without recent coursework in accounting or economics are strongly advised to complete<br />

UCSP 620 Financial Accounting and UCSP 621 Economics. Students with little<br />

experience in statistics, accounting, or finance are advised to complete UCSP 630<br />

<strong>Intro</strong>duction to Research Methods.<br />
