6.3.5 Desiccant<br />

The desiccant bags should be removed from the plastic bags in which they are<br />

shipped before placing them inside the enclosure. Two 100 g bags of desiccant<br />

are supplied with the <strong>PWS100</strong>. Desiccant use depends on your application (see<br />

below). The desiccant should be firmly strapped to the DSP cover inside the<br />

PWS electronics enclosure using the strap provided and as shown in Figure<br />

6-6.<br />

The second bag of desiccant should be re-sealed in the plastic shipping bag as a<br />

replacement for the initial bag<br />

6.3.6 Communication Options<br />

The communications options are RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. Baud rate is<br />

selectable between 300 bps and 115.2 kbps. The communications are set on a<br />

series of dip switches on the DSP board itself. The get to the board the DSP<br />

cover must be removed as shown in Figure 6-7. Unscrew the four retaining<br />

screws and carefully lift off to expose the board as shown in Figure 6-8.<br />
