1. The SPI ports (MISO, MOSI, SCK, and SS) are general-purpose I/O ports when the SPI is<br />

disabled (SPE = 0).<br />

MISO is one of the two SPI data pins.<br />

In master mode, MISO is the data input. In slave mode, MISO is the data<br />

output and is three-stated until a master drives the SS input pin low.<br />

In bidirectional mode, a slave MISO pin is the SISO pin (slave in/slave<br />

out).<br />

In a multiple-master system, all MISO pins are tied together.<br />

MOSI is one of the two SPI data pins.<br />

In master mode, MOSI is the data output. In slave mode, MOSI is the<br />

data input.<br />

In bidirectional mode, a master MOSI pin is the MOMI pin (master<br />

out/master in).<br />

In a multiple-master system, all MOSI pins are tied together.<br />
