Candidates can work either in groups or individually, but individual reports must be submitted. Teachers must assess the completed work in accordance with the mark scheme provided by CXC. At registration, the previous year‟s registration number must be indicated. All candidates with their previous year‟s registration numbers must be listed on the Record Sheet. Candidates who have earned moderated marks equal to 50% or more of the total SBA marks may elect not to repeat the SBA component, provided that they rewrite the examination during the subsequent year. Candidates whose moderated marks are less than 50% of the maximum SBA marks for the subject, must repeat SBA requirements at any subsequent sitting of the examination. 55
