Ms. Krupko<br />

Tucci's pers<strong>on</strong>nel file. Ms. Krupko also po<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>ted out that "we" had travelled to Districts<br />

Krupko also said that the Booster Club had been asked to pay for half <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the weight<br />

Mr. Tob<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> applauded<br />

people for stepp<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g forward but menti<strong>on</strong>ed that a time comes when we become part <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

and gave thanks to his coworkers.<br />

Dick McCoy addressed the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Mr. McCoy agreed that the focus needs to be <strong>on</strong><br />

kids. Mr. Mcoy said their three grands<strong>on</strong>s go to <str<strong>on</strong>g>Marl<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>gt<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g> and that they were<br />

encouraged by what was go<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <strong>on</strong> here when they started here. Mr. McCoy said the<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> had robbed them <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> the last three m<strong>on</strong>ths with everyth<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g go<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <strong>on</strong>. Mr. McCoy<br />

which he equated to cheat<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g young people. Mr. McCoy menti<strong>on</strong>ed the ignor<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a<br />

petiti<strong>on</strong> by students and referred to "back door" deal<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>gs <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> regard to Mr. Krupko. Mr.<br />

McCoy menti<strong>on</strong>ed Mr. Witmer cheat<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g young people with what he said <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> regard to<br />

athletics at <str<strong>on</strong>g>Marl<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>gt<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g>. Mr. McCoy f<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>ished by say<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g that they (he and his wife) have<br />

no trust <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> or Adm<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>istrati<strong>on</strong>.<br />

Kelly Palmer addressed the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Mr. Palmer said he called Lynn Kaplan Wednesday<br />

night and that Ms. Kaplan denied that the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> was hold<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>terviews the next day to<br />

select an <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>terim <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> member. Mr. Palmer addressed <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> member Lynn Kaplan<br />

and asked her why she said that. Ms. Kaplan resp<strong>on</strong>ded by say<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g that she thought she<br />

told him they were hav<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>terviews but was not sure how many were be<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>terviewed or when.<br />

Jeffrey Ruff addressed the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Mr. Ruff expressed his <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fense at sports hav<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g been<br />

labeled as embarrass<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g and menti<strong>on</strong>ed the succes <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> various sports teams. Mr. Ruff<br />

menti<strong>on</strong>ed his friendship with Mr. Tucci and that a "certa<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> adm<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>istrator" is what most<br />

people say the problem is and was the reas<strong>on</strong> for Mr. Tucci leav<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g. Mr. Ruff closed<br />

by say<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g that he hopes he (the "certa<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> adm<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>istrator") makes the right decisi<strong>on</strong> and<br />

steps down.<br />

Danielle Schrader addressed the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Ms. Schrader praised Mr. Herren and <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

particular his help <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> her determ<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>ati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> her career path. Ms. Schrader said that if Mr.<br />

Scott wanted what was best, he would listen to students and others and not fire Mr.<br />

Herren. Ms. Schrader said <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>tegrity was lack<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> the Adm<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>strati<strong>on</strong> and<br />

Ms. Schrader said she hoped the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> had the courage<br />

to do the right th<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g and keep Mr. Herren. Ms. Schrader said she was disappo<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>ted to<br />

have read <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> the Repository that the dropp<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the science credit for agricultural<br />

science was at the sole discreti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Mr. Scott after hav<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g been told by the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> that<br />

it was a State requirement.<br />

Norita Webb addressed the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g>. Ms. Webb said she felt the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g>'s number <strong>on</strong>e task<br />

should be communicati<strong>on</strong>. Ms. Webb read observati<strong>on</strong>s <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the last <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> meet<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g and<br />

menti<strong>on</strong>ed that there were not enough seats and that the sound system was <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>adequate.<br />

Ms. Webb asked if coach<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g and mentor<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g is go<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <strong>on</strong>. Ms. Webb asked if any<strong>on</strong>e<br />

from the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> has <str<strong>on</strong>g>met</str<strong>on</strong>g> with the Slaters or Gabrics and if not, asked, "Why?". Ms.<br />

Webb said communicati<strong>on</strong> can diffuse certa<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> th<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>gs and asked if there was much<br />

discussi<strong>on</strong> before the n<strong>on</strong>-renewal <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Mr. Tucci. Ms. Webb asked if there really are

asked if Mr. Burner's NHS questi<strong>on</strong>s will be addressed. Ms. Webb menti<strong>on</strong>ed the Prom<br />

dress code and menti<strong>on</strong>ed the possibility <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> chapar<strong>on</strong>es at the Prom. Ms. Webb<br />

menti<strong>on</strong>ed tak<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g pers<strong>on</strong>al <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fense at Mr. Witmer menti<strong>on</strong><str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g a Mob mentality. Ms.<br />

Webb said "Test scores al<strong>on</strong>e d<strong>on</strong>'t reveal success". Ms. Webb suggested the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

Lynn Kaplan addressed the audience and assured that they (the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g>) were address<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g<br />

that there was no "magic wand" to fix everyth<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> the District, but that members <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

the <str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> are work<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g to improve th<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>gs. Ms. Kaplan addressed Mr. Palmer and said<br />

that she knew the <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>terviews were tak<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g plance and that there was a misunderstand<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g.<br />

A member <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the audience asked why others weren't notified when a meet<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g occurred<br />

with Mr. M<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fet from the State. Mr. Scott assured the pers<strong>on</strong> that Mr. M<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fet was<br />

com<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g back next week. Mr. Scott attempted to expla<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> basis for meet<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g with Mr.<br />

M<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fet and the planned sequence the review. Another pers<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> the audience shouted<br />

that it was a local decisi<strong>on</strong>, not a state <strong>on</strong>e, <str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g> regard to dropp<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>g <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the science credit<br />

Mr. Witmer c<strong>on</strong>veyed the great resp<strong>on</strong>sibility that comes with appo<str<strong>on</strong>g>in</str<strong>on</strong>g>tment to the<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>Board</str<strong>on</strong>g> and expressed his pride with many <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the athletic programs. Mr. Witmer<br />

menti<strong>on</strong>ed that children are here to learn and that if children do not learn from sports,<br />

then they d<strong>on</strong>'t bel<strong>on</strong>g here.<br />
