*Excluding the four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Children aged 15 years and under will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by an
adult on all four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, cards will not be scanned on these days.
Important Information
Please note that Phar Lap Club Members are not able to enter licensed areas of the Club unless accompanied by
an adult. The VRC does not condone underage drinking or gambling.
The VRC (or its authorised photographers) may take photographs of you, the children or their guests within the
Phar Lap Club during events. The VRC may use these images in Phar Lap Club publications or in other printed
publications that the VRC may produce, as well as on our website. The VRC may also make videos from time to
time to help promote the Phar Lap Club’s activities.
Various media agencies may attend Phar Lap Club events and they may take photographs or film footage at such
events. Phar Lap Club Members will often appear in these images, which may appear in newspapers, websites or
on televised programmes.
By attending Phar Lap Club events, you consent on behalf of your child and their guests, to the use of images of
your child or their guests as described above.
All children under the age of 18 are to be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times while at Flemington
Racecourse.
VRC Phar Lap Club Membership Fee
Phar Lap Club has an annual subscription of $5.00

Consent and Indemnity

I consent to and authorise the application by my child to become a Member of the Club and in consideration of the Club
admitting my child to Membership of the Club, I agree to indemnify the Club against any liability incurred by the Club or
any damage, loss, injury or cost suffered by the Club as a result of any act or omission of my child, or by any guest of my child.
I consent to my child attending any events conducted by the Club at Flemington. Please note that children and their guests
must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times when they are attending any Phar Lap Club events conducted by the Club
at Flemington and remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian. To the extent permitted by law, the Club does not accept any
responsibility for the health or safety of your child and their guests and the Terms and Conditions of Entry apply to you and your
