GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES
In order to be considered for a grant from the National Swimming Pool Foundation, the
applicant must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The purpose of grants for
research and academic studies related to swimming pool and spa injury and illness
prevention should follow the protocol below.
The National Swimming Pool Foundation also welcomes research proposals into the
health benefits of aquatic activity, which are handled through a separate process. These
proposals are individually-evaluated according to project fit with NSPF strategic health
successful project completion. The deadline for such initial proposal summaries is
January 31, 2012.
Grant applications in excess of $25,000 will not be considered. Grant applications will
be given priority based on 1) merit/impact and 2) cost. Applications at the lowest cost
Swimming Pool Foundation should carefully review NSPF Grant Guidelines. There is no
official grant request application form. However, grant requests will not be considered
