• On January 15, 2010, elements of Bulacan CIDT-3RCIDU of
this Group together with PIB Bulacan PPO and Bulacan PPSC conducted
operation at Brgy. Sto. Nino, Calumpit, Bulacan against “Tupada” that resulted in
the arrest of Jaypee NACIONAL y Dela Peña and five (5) others and confiscation
of Php 2,273.00 cash bets, four (4) fighting cocks and twelve (12) pieces of gaff.
• A case for violation of PD 1602 as amended by RA 9287
was filed against the arrested suspects before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office,
Bulacan docketed under NPS No. III-04-INQ-11A-00038.
2. OPERATION AGAINST JAI-ALAI IN BACOLOD CITY
• On January 14, 2011, elements of Negros Occidental and
Bacolod CIDTs-6RCIDU of this Group together with Bacolod CPO implemented
Search Warrant No. 001-2011 issued by Judge Napoleon S. Diamante at the
premises of Jo Anne JAVIER y Cuadra located at No. 16-11 Margarita Street,
Eroreco Subdivision, Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental that
resulted to the arrest of the respondent together with Helen Grace MAPA y Cua
and fifteen (15) others and the seizures of Php 14,009.30 cash bets in different
denominations and assorted gambling paraphernalia for “Jai-Alai”.
• A case for violation of RA 9287 was filed against the
arrested suspects before the Office of Assistant City Prosecutor Gwendolyn I.
Jimenea-Tiu at City Prosecutor’s Office, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental
docketed under IS No. VI-03-INQ-1IA-075.
3. OPERATION AGAINST STL-BOOKIES
IN LOS BAÑOS, LAGUNA
• On January 11, 2011, elements of Laguna CIDT-4ARCIDU
of this Group conducted operation at National Road, Brgy. Timogan, Los Baños,
Laguna that resulted in the arrest of Felix BANTATUA y Dela Peña, 50 years old
while in the act of collecting bet money for illegal number games locally known as
“STL Bookies” beside the road of said place.
• Confiscated from the possession of the arrested person
were Php 2,550.00 cash bets in different denominations and assorted gambling
paraphernalia for said illegal number games.
• A case for violation of PD 1602 as amended by RA 9287
was filed against the arrested suspect before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office,
Sta. Rosa City, Laguna docketed under IS No. IV-04B-INQ-IIA-0014.
