INVESTIGATION OF HEINOUS AND
SENSATIONAL CASES:
For the period in review, the different operating units of the Group took
cognizance of 173cases, 53 or 30.64% of which are Index Crimes while 120 or
69.36% are Non-Index Crimes. One hundred sixty-nine(169) cases were filed in
court, while four (4) are under investigation. The Group has a Case Solution
Efficiency(CSE) of 97.68%.
On the investigation of heinous crimes, the Group investigated sixteen
(16) heinous crimes, thirteen (13) of which were filed and solved, while three(3)
are still under investigation witha Crime Solution Efficiency (CSE) of
81.25%.Likewise, on the investigation of sensational cases, five (5) cases were
investigated, four (4) of which were filed and solved, while one (1) are still under
investigation, registering a CSE of 80.00%.

Significant accomplishments under CIDG OPLAN “Clean Sweep”:
1. ARREST OF ONE OF THE LEADER OF THE
DOMINGUEZ CARNAPPING GROUP
• On January 24, 2011 at about 5:30 P.M., Raymond
DOMINGUEZ y Santos, 26 years old of Iba Este, Calumpit, Bulacan and one of
the suspects in the killing of Venzon Evangelista who voluntarily submitted
himself to the custody of the Bulacan PPO on January 22, 2011 was arrested by
elements of Bulacan CIDT. The arrest was made thru proper coordination with
PSSUPT WENDY ROSARIO, OIC, Bulacan PPO by PSSUPT CHRISTOPHER A
LAXA and Atty. Virgilio Pablico.
• At around 6:00 P.M., Raymond DOMINGUEZ was brought to
the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, Quezon City for inquest on charges of
Kidnapping with Homicide and Violation of RA 6539.
• During the inquest proceedings by Asst. City Prosecutor
Solivan L. Usman, DOMINGUEZ thru his counsel Atty. Raymund P. Palad
manifested that he is waiving his rights under Article 135 of the RPC and counsel
of the accused was given a copy of the complaint. Initial hearing of the case was
set on January 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M.
• After the inquest, Raymond DOMINGUEZ was brought to
Camp Crame, Quezon City and turned-over to the custody of NCRCIDU of this
