Significant accomplishments under <strong>CIDG</strong> OPLAN “Magdalena”:<br />
1. ARREST OF SUSPECT SELLING PORNOGRAPHIC DVDS<br />
IN KAWIT, CAVITE<br />
• On June 24, <strong>2011</strong>, elements of Cavite CIDT-4ARCIDU of<br />
this Group conducted buy-bust operation at Brgy. Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite that<br />
resulted in the arrest of Panoro BALINDONG after receiving Php 200.00 as<br />
payment for two (2) pornographic DVDs with titles “European and American Adult<br />
Movie” and Sexy Lady Cinderella.<br />
• The operation resulted to the confiscation of thirty (30)<br />
pornographic DVDs from the possession of BALINDONG. Likewise, a total of one<br />
hundred fifty (150) pieces of pirated VCDs/DVDs movies were also seized in the<br />
stall of the suspect.<br />
• A case for violation of Article 201 of the RPC was filed<br />
against the arrested suspect before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Imus,<br />
Cavite docketed under IS No. IV-03-INV-11A-0296.<br />
2. OPERATION AGAINST PORNOGRAPHIC DVDS<br />
IN BLUMENTRITT, STA. CRUZ, MANILA<br />
• On <strong>January</strong> 10, <strong>2011</strong>, elements of WMMCIDT-NCRCIDU of<br />
this Group conducted operation along Blumentritt, Sta. Cruz, Manila that resulted<br />
in the confiscation of sixteen (16) pieces of assorted pornographic DVD movies.<br />
• However, the owner of the confiscated items managed to run<br />
and elude arrest. Likewise, other vendors scampered to different directions and<br />
were able to elude arrest bringing their respective merchandise. Upon inquiry<br />
from the bystanders it was learned that the owner of the said items was a certain<br />
Henry BALLESTEROS of No. 1125 F. Verona Street, Tondo, Manila.<br />
• A case for violation of Article 201, RPC in relation to PD 960<br />
and 969 (Selling of pornographic materials) was filed against the suspect before<br />
the Manila Prosecutor’s Office docketed under IS No. 11A-00274.<br />
