Exam analysis
The NUC again used the analysis spread sheet developed by Matt Gowty (Qld), Softball Australia Hall of Fame member
The data key was to be used to supply the National Registrar with the ability to update the national database. The data
will identify active and non-active umpires for the currency and accreditation requirements for the ASC. The NUC
would like to acknowledge Darren Sibraa (Qld) for providing support and feedback on technical aspects of the program,
Alan McAuliffe (SA), Darrell Shephard (NSW) and Graham Bancroft (WA) for help and support in delivering the technical
stream of the National Umpiring Program.
Umpiring resources
Amanda Houison, UIC Communication, has been responsible for the production and distribution of Blues News Online
(BNOL) every month. BNOL has covered both international and national events, from an Australian perspective, and
looking forward, will include more grassroots news items. The umpiring section of the website is constantly being
updated. The Umpire Honours & Awards page is now available, highlighting our umpires achievements and
appointments.
