Bonding Force and Expansion »» Realistic expansion efforts today demand a global perspective, especially since in the construction sector, excessive reliance on domestic economic influences is counterproductive. Over the last decade therefore, Uzin Utz AG has consistently and significantly expanded its international activities. The export quota has been significantly above 50% for the last 7 years, and in 2010 reached 54.6%. The Group currently operates eight foreign production locations, and the locations in North America and Asia were recently extended. Over the past year, sales developed positively particularly in the USA and Switzerland. » » In Scandinavia, Uzin Utz AG currently achieves sales of around €5.4 million. In order to exploit the substantial potentials in the northern European region even better in future, and to ensure full sales coverage here, a majority shareholding in the Norwegian sales company Løkken AS was acquired with effect from 01.01.2011. This company, with which a long-standing partnership already exists, specialises in the sale of flooring products, and currently generates annual sales of around €6 million. With this latest acquisition, the Uzin Utz Group has further extended its foreign presence, successively and systematically continuing the set course for growth at the global level.
