the Tour de France, the team confidently<br />
outscores the Danish team, ‘Saxobank’, and<br />
the Russian team, ‘Katyusha’.<br />
In the International Individual ratings, Kazakhstani<br />
bicycle racer Alexander Vinokurov<br />
has risen from 10th to 6th place, and Kazakhstan<br />
took the 7th position in UCI Nations<br />
ratings, , appearing among leading teams<br />
from around the world.<br />
«Astana»’s victories inspire young Kazakhstani<br />
athletes, and support the development of<br />
cycling in Kazakhstan. The team’s management<br />
is currently completing negotiations<br />
with a number of perspective bicycle racers,<br />
and, in accordance with the best traditions of<br />
the «Astana» Team, plans to continue winning<br />
the great bicycle races – including next year’s<br />
Tour de France.
