what I call the train wreck school of professional ethics.
There is a problem, a train wreck, there is bodies, there
is blood, there is people screaming and crying, there is
mess on the ground, and that is my job. I go and deal with
it. That means that I have had a variety of internal
compliance related responsibilities, problem response.
My major professional interest is in how do you
conduct effective and credible internal investigations
inside an institution when you have a number of conflicts
of interest built into the system. How do you go about
doing an effective and credible job of self-regulation,
professional self-regulation? So that is where my major
interests lay.
