Congratulations on the purchase of your new JACOB JENSEN TM
Telephone 1.
The telephone is designed in Denmark by Jacob Jensen,
whose products have gained international recognition for
their original, simple and classic design. Jacob Jensen has
received about 100 prizes from around the world and has
19 products included in The Design Study Collection and The
Design Collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New
York.
The JACOB JENSEN TM Telephone 1 is suitable for connection
to the public network. The telephone can either stand or be
mounted on the wall and is equipped with a memory for
11 numbers, mute function and high or low ringing tone
adjustment.
Installation
Table stand
The telephone is supplied with a table stand which you
attach as the following:
1. Slide the canals of the table stand into the tracks of the
base. The table stand is mounted when you hear a click.
2. Fit the modular contact of the coiled cord into the plug of
the handset.
3. Connect the telephone line to the wall outlet.
Wall mounting
The telephone can be mounted on the wall by. Proceed as
follows:
1. Disconnect the coiled cord from the handset.
2. Push the button inside the square hole under the modular
jack using a pen or a finger, and pull the bracket away
from the base at the same time.
3. Pull the telephone line cord downwards through the
groove in order to let it out at the bottom and connect it
to the wall outlet.
4. Reconnect the coiled cord.
5. Place the telephone on the screws already mounted on the
wall (use the template, fig. 4 on page 3).
How to make a telephone call
To lift off the handset, gently press on the upper part of the
handset with your index finger and the handset falls into
your hand.
a. Lift off the handset and wait for the dialling tone.
b. Dial the telephone number.
c. Put down the handset when the conversation is over.
Hook switch
The telephone is equipped with a magnetic hook switch. To
get a new dial tone you can simply press the key.
Redial
If you wish to redial the last dialled telephone number, you
can use the key and this number is dialled automatically.
This number will be stored until the next time a telephone
call is made.
Notice: Numbers larger than 31 digits cannot be stored.
One- and two-touch numbers
The telephone has a memory for 11 numbers of max. 21
digits, which is saved in RAM of chipset. The memory will be
erased three hours after disconnection from the phone line.
To store numbers in the memory, proceed as follows:
One-touch number:
a. Lift off the handset or press
b. Press
c. Press
d. Enter the telephone number you wish to store.
e. Press
f. Hang up the handset or press
Two-touch numbers:
a. Lift off the handset or press
b. Press
c. Press
d. Press 0-9 to select a location.
e. Enter the telephone number you wish to store.
f. Press and hang up the handset or press
A pause can be inserted when storing numbers in the
memory e.g. when calling through a switchboard (PABX).
To insert a pause press the key (e.g. 0 70226033).
Automatic dialling
One-touch number:
Lift off the handset or press , wait for the dialling tone
and press .
Two-touch numbers:
Lift off the handset or press , wait for the dialling tone,
press and the selected location 0-9.
Mute function
When the MUTE button on the handset is pressed and held
down the microphone is disconnected. When the button is
released, the microphone is activated again.
Ringing melody and volume
The telephone has 3 ringing melodies and loudness levels.
To change melody and loudness level. Proceed as follows:
a. Pick up the handset or press .
b. Press
c. Press
d. Select by using the numeric keys (please see fig. 3 page 3).
Note: The telephone is preset to combination no. 6.
R-key
The R-key is used for connecting a telephone call using a
switchboard (PABX) and at some special services offered by
the telephone company.
Cleaning
Clean the telephone by using a soft cloth. Do not use
aggressive chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

This eqiupment is hearing aid compatible.

line, ensure the installation of this Telephone, type TP-0183 does not disable your alarm
equipment. If you have questions about what will disable alarm equipment, consult your
telephone company or a qualified installer.
Should you experience trouble with this equipment, please contact the distributor in your
territory (see further on www.jacobjensen.com) for repair or warranty information.
If the equipment is causing harm to the telephone network, the telephone company may
request that you disconnect the equipment until the problem is solved.

本 製 品 はデンマークのブランド、Jacob Jensen〈ヤコブ・イェンセン〉
によりデザインされました。 彼 らの 製 品 は 独 創 性 のあるシンプルかつ

JACOB JENSEN TM T-1 電 話 機 は、 一 般 公 衆 回 線 につないで 使 用 しま
す。パルス 回 線 及 びトーン(プッシュ) 回 線 で 使 用 できます。 卓 上 設 置 と
壁 面 設 置 の 両 方 に 対 応 しており、11 件 までの 番 号 登 録 、ミュート、 大 ・
小 2 段 階 の 受 話 音 量 設 定 が 可 能 です。
【1】 本 機 の 取 付 け
〈 卓 上 設 置 する 場 合 〉
付 属 のテーブルスタンドを 以 下 の 方 法 で 取 り 付 けて 下 さい。
• テーブルスタンドの 細 長 い 突 起 部 を、 本 体 底 部 の 溝 にカチッと 音
がするまで 差 し 込 みます。
• カールコードのモジュラープラグを 受 話 器 側 のジャックに 差 し 込 み
ます。
• 電 話 線 を 電 話 コンセント( 家 庭 用 のモジュラー 式 ソケット)につなぎ
ます。
〈 卓 上 から 壁 面 設 置 に 変 える 場 合 〉
本 機 を 以 下 の 方 法 で 壁 に 取 り 付 けて 下 さい。
• カールコードのプラグを 受 話 器 から 取 り 外 します。
• 本 体 側 カールコードの 下 にある 四 角 い 穴 にあるボタンを、ペンや 爪
などで 押 します。 同 時 にテーブルスタンドを 引 き 抜 いて 取 り 外 しま
す。
• 電 話 線 を 本 体 背 面 の 溝 に 這 わせ、 本 機 の 下 から 外 に 出 して 壁 の 電
話 コンセントにつなぎます。
• カールコードのプラグを 受 話 器 につなぎます。
• 予 め 壁 に 取 り 付 けたネジ( 付 属 品 )に 本 機 を 取 り 付 けます。( 図 4 参
照 ) ( 付 属 のネジは 木 下 地 用 です。プラスターボード 等 に 使 用 され
る 場 合 は 素 材 に 適 したネジをご 用 意 下 さい。)
【2】 電 話 のかけ 方
受 話 器 上 部 を 人 差 し 指 で 軽 く 押 さえると 受 話 器 が 持 ち 上 がります。
• 受 話 器 をとってツーというダイヤルトーンが 聞 こえるのを 確 認 しま
す。
• 電 話 番 号 をダイヤルします。
• 通 話 が 終 わったら 上 記 と 逆 の 手 順 で 受 話 器 を 戻 します。
【3】フックスイッチ
本 機 は 磁 気 式 フックスイッチを 備 えています。 受 話 器 を 戻 さずに
キーを 長 押 しすることで 通 話 を 終 了 し、 新 たに 電 話 をかけることが
できます。
【4】リダイヤル
最 後 にダイヤルした 番 号 にもう 一 度 かけ 直 したい 時 は、 受 話 器 をとり
(またはキーを 押 して) キーを 押 すと 自 動 的 にリダイヤルされま
す。この 番 号 は 次 に 別 の 番 号 をダイヤルするまで 保 存 されます。
( 番 号 が31 桁 を 超 える 場 合 は 保 存 されません。)
【5】ワンタッチナンバー/ツータッチナンバーの 登 録
本 機 は、21 桁 までの 電 話 番 号 を、ワンタッチナンバーで1 件 、ツータッ
チナンバーで10 件 登 録 できるメモリー 機 能 を 備 えています。 以 下 の
方 法 で 短 縮 ダイヤルを 登 録 して 下 さい。( 電 話 線 を 抜 いた 場 合 、もしく
は 交 換 機 の 電 源 が 供 給 されなくなった 場 合 、 登 録 内 容 が 消 去 されま
すのでご 注 意 下 さい。)
〈ワンタッチナンバー〉
• 受 話 器 をとります。または キーを 押 します。
• キーを 押 します。
• キーを 押 します。
• 登 録 する 番 号 をダイヤルします。
• キーを 押 します。
• 受 話 器 を 戻 します。または キーを 押 します。
〈ツータッチナンバー〉
• 受 話 器 をとります。または キーを 押 します。
• キーを 押 します。
• キーを 押 します。
• 0~9の 中 からひとつキーを 選 択 します。
• 登 録 する 番 号 をダイヤルします。
• キーを 押 してから 受 話 器 を 戻 すか、 キーを 押 します。
※ 本 機 では 番 号 登 録 時 にポーズを 挿 入 する(ダイヤルする 際 に 少 し
間 を 開 ける)ことができます。ポーズを 挿 入 するには キーを 押 し
ます。( 例 :0 70226033) 構 内 交 換 機 を 使 用 する 場 合 で 外 線
接 続 番 号 の 後 にポーズを 挿 入 すれば、 直 接 ダイヤルすることができ
ます。
【6】 短 縮 ダイヤルのかけ 方
〈ワンタッチナンバー〉
受 話 器 をとるか、 キ ー を 押 して 、ツ ー と い う 音 を 確 認 し ま す 。そ
の 後 キーを 押 して 下 さい。 登 録 された 任 意 の 番 号 がダイヤル
されます。
〈ツータッチナンバー〉
受 話 器 をとるか、 キ ー を 押 して 、ツ ー と い う 音 を 確 認 し ま す 。そ
の 後 キーを 押 し、0から9の 中 からひとつ 短 縮 キーを 押 して 下 さ
い。 登 録 された 任 意 の 番 号 がダイヤルされます。
【7】ミュート 機 能
受 話 器 中 央 部 にあるミュートボタンを 押 している 間 は、 通 話 用 マイ
クがオフの 状 態 になります。ボタンを 離 すとマイクはオンの 状 態 に 戻
ります。
【8】 着 信 音 と 音 程 設 定
本 機 には3 種 類 の 着 信 音 と3 段 階 の 音 程 があります。 以 下 の 方 法 で 設
定 して 下 さい。
• 受 話 器 をとります。または キーを 押 します。
• キーを 押 します。
• キーを 押 します。
• 下 記 を 参 考 に、0~9のいずれかのキーを 押 して 着 信 音 を 設 定 しま
す。( 図 3 参 照 )
1~3:A 音 / 低 ・ 中 ・ 高 4~6:B 音 / 低 ・ 中 ・ 高 7~9:C 音 / 低 ・
中 ・ 高 0: 無 音
(ご 購 入 時 には6 番 に 設 定 されています。また 無 音 にした 場 合 、 一 度 受
話 器 を 取 ると 設 定 が 解 除 されます。)
【9】Rキー
このキーは、 交 換 機 を 通 して 電 話 をつなぐ 際 や 電 話 会 社 の 特 殊 サー
ビスを 利 用 する 際 などに 使 います。

【10】お 手 入 れについて
中 性 洗 剤 を 少 量 溶 かした 水 に 柔 らかい 布 を 浸 し、 固 く 絞 った 上 で 本
機 を 拭 いて 下 さい。 強 力 な 薬 品 、 洗 浄 剤 などは 使 用 しないで 下 さい。
- 本 製 品 の 技 術 的 仕 様 及 び 説 明 書 の 内 容 は 予 告 なく 変 更 する 場 合
があります。
- 製 造 者 並 びに 供 給 者 は、 本 製 品 の 使 用 により 発 生 した、お 客 様 の
いかなる 損 害 や 支 出 、 利 益 の 損 失 、その 他 の 損 害 のいずれに 対 し
ても 一 切 責 任 を 負 わないものとします。
【 安 全 に 使 用 するための 注 意 】
この 取 扱 い 説 明 書 を 保 存 して 下 さい。
• 本 製 品 を 風 呂 場 、 手 洗 い 場 など 水 のそばで 使 用 しないで 下 さい。
• 雷 雨 の 時 には 本 機 を 使 用 しないで 下 さい。 感 電 する 危 険 がありま
す。
• ガス 漏 れが 発 生 している 付 近 では 本 機 を 使 用 しないで 下 さい。
【 使 用 上 の 注 意 】
• 本 機 を 埃 っぽい 場 所 や 汚 れのつきやすい 場 所 で 使 用 することは 避
けて 下 さい。またテレビや 電 子 レンジなど、 電 磁 波 の 発 生 する 近 く
には 設 置 しないで 下 さい。 直 射 日 光 のあたる 場 所 、 熱 源 の 近 くや 湿
度 の 高 い 場 所 での 使 用 は 故 障 の 原 因 となる 場 合 がありますので 避
けて 下 さい。
• 本 機 の 保 証 は 購 入 後 12ヶ 月 間 です。また、 販 売 後 5 年 経 過 以 降 は
修 理 できない 場 合 があります。5 年 以 内 においても 仕 様 の 変 更 等 が
生 じた 場 合 は 同 等 品 との 交 換 となる 場 合 があります。
