President, <strong>Louisiana</strong> <strong>Dental</strong> Assistants <strong>Association</strong> The <strong>Louisiana</strong> <strong>Dental</strong> Assistants <strong>Association</strong> (LDAA) and <strong>the</strong> conference committee are working toge<strong>the</strong>r to provide assistants attending <strong>the</strong> NODC/LDA Annual Session, April 14-16, with a Round Table Learning Experience that combines innovation and product enhancement in an interesting and dynamic format. This program, geared toward <strong>the</strong> administrative and clinical staff, is <strong>of</strong>fered in a lively three-hour program, inspiring participation and discussion. Improving compliance and encouraging patients through knowledge and product information is an integral part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> dental staff’s critical role in <strong>the</strong> practice. The participants will be introduced to new products and techniques geared at increasing <strong>the</strong>ir knowledge and productivity in <strong>the</strong> practice. The participant will come away energized with increased awareness <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice parameters on key issues, along with new ideas and product applications for <strong>the</strong> practice. Samples will be provided for every participant. Participants will be at each table for 30 minutes, rotating to <strong>the</strong> next table and <strong>the</strong> next speaker. We are excited to announce our exceptional speakers who are leaders in <strong>the</strong> dental industry: <strong>Dental</strong> Economics, and editor, <strong>Dental</strong> Assisting Digest, “Hot trends and topics in <strong>Dental</strong> Assisting.” Kevin will inform us about one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hottest trends in <strong>the</strong> world today: going green. America, “The Science <strong>of</strong> Remineralization.” Annette will explain <strong>the</strong> caries balance <strong>the</strong>ory and developing and implementing new and effective caries preventive care strategies. Company, “<strong>Dental</strong> Instrument Management.” Robert will teach <strong>the</strong> correct methods <strong>of</strong> cleaning and sterilization, along with <strong>the</strong> safest Round Table Learning Experience at New Orleans <strong>Dental</strong> Conference and LDA Annual Session and newest waterline maintenance. Treatment Plan Acceptance.” Melissa will present ways to present treatment to obtain <strong>the</strong> highest treatment acceptance. This one-<strong>of</strong>-a-kind event will be held Friday, April 15, 2011, from 9 a.m. to noon, inside <strong>the</strong> entrance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Exhibit Hall at <strong>the</strong> New Orleans Morial Convention Center.
