The speaker will be Jim Moczydlowski,
principal at Trumbauersville
Elementary School
in the Quakertown School District,
former special education
teacher and school psychologist
in the Parkland and Pottsgrove
school districts, and a member
of our church who has served in
the past as a Confirmation
Class advisor and leader of parenting
classes.
Adult Seminar
The Evolution of Adam
Evolutionary theory has been
around for generations, but in
recent years two factors are
bringing the issue back into the
public eye. … the relentless,
articulate, and popular attacks
on Christianity by the New
Atheists … and … wellpublicized
advances in our understanding
of evolution, particularly
genetics.” Those are
the introductory words of Dr.
Peter Enns book that seeks to
look at this topic from a scientific
and religious perspective.
Dr. Enns, professor of
biblical studies at Eastern University,
will join us for this
seminar thanks to our Scientists
in Congregations grant from the
Templeton Foundation. All
participants will receive a free
copy of his book, “The Evolution
of Adam.”
