Thanks to the recent developments of the major LINAC vendors, delivering highly
conformal treatments has become easier than ever.
However, mobilizing the resources to do the Quality Assurance could become a real
challenge – unless we accept the fact that Modern treatment techniques require
modern QA methods.

A Solution Built to Last
The C-RAD GEMini system for Portal Dosimetry consists of a state-of-the-art Electronic Portal Imaging
Device (EPID) and a well-proven clinical software package that offers complete functionality for patient
specific QA and imaging.
The unique design of the GEMini detector makes it highly radiation resistant while at the same time
providing optimal dosimetric performance. The detector will mechanically fit in select LINAC models from
major vendors, ensuring a smooth installation.
Since the EPID alone is used for all measurements, no phantoms or other dosimetric equipment will need
to be placed on the couch or the patient. Plan verification can be done either before the patient arrives
(pre-treatment) or online (during treatment).
The delivered dose is always compared against the original treatment plan, and any deviations are clearly
presented.
