DMA Resources The DMA Resources menu lets you allocate direct memory<br />
access (DMA) channels for an adapter. The menu lists the<br />
channel assignments for DMA, which allows I/O devices<br />
to transfer data to and from memory. You allocate DMA<br />
channels to an adapter by selecting the ISA Resource<br />
setting for an available channel.<br />
Be sure to read the documentation supplied with your<br />
adapter. You might need to make changes to the adapter<br />
to accommodate the selections you make for DMA<br />
Resources. For example, you might have to move jumpers<br />
or switches on the adapter, or make changes to the<br />
software supplied with the adapter.<br />
Interrupt Resources The Interrupt Resources menu lets you allocate interrupt<br />
requests (IRQs) for an adapter. The menu lists the system<br />
IRQs and their functions. You allocate IRQs to an adapter<br />
by selecting the ISA Resource setting for an available IRQ.<br />
