Day Cricket
To celebrate the 60th
Independence Day, IIP Lahore
arranged a best of three series
of 8 overs each cricket matches
with PTD Lahore. The matches
were played on the night
between 13th & 14th August
2007, under floodlights at
Wahdat Road Cricket Club Ground
Lahore.
Mr. Kashif Iqbal (IIP) and Mr. Hamid
Ali Shah (PTD) were the two
captains. In the matches that
started at 2100 hrs players from
both teams showed great skills and
all the matches were a treat to watch.
During the matches, all players
enjoyed refreshments including
burgers and cold drinks. At the end of
the tournament the players appreciated
the efforts of IIP and PTD Managements
for their support and outstanding
involvement and hoped for the
continuation of the same in future. While
PTD won the toss in all three matches
they could not win the tournament.
Mirza Haris Baig selected to cockpit
Mirza Haris Baig of Medical Solutions was
selected as a member of the elite Cockpit
group. Cockpit is a European People
Excellence Team .The Cockpit program
focuses on motivated young talents. It
gives them direct and unfiltered access
to the development of business concepts.
In this way, a different perspective is
opened for those selected under this
program and increases their learning
curves. The group is offered interesting
work assignments and / or training to
use and upgrade their abilities and skills.
Active contribution of the participants is
rewarded. The talents are identified by
managers. Selection is based on drive
with energy, focus and execute, impact
and energize, and guide with passion.
Cockpit program. Vision and aims
Profitable growth, leadership, and
progress – these are the aims of the
Cockpit program. The program is looking
for talents with high potentials that are
chosen from the team.
In the end, it depends on them to help
shape the future of the company. The
aim of the program is to establish a high
potential pool of elected Cockpit
members, creating a creative network to
make local knowledge global. The
selected members will be assigned the
responsibility of projects related to the
Growth Strategy of the European Sales
& Service Organization.
The Growth Projects will comprise all
phases from conception to the first steps
of realization, helping to improve market
position and open up additional business
opportunities. The Cockpit program is a
highly ranked initiative, the missing link
in the chain of the Siemens People
Development Programs. It is an excellent
addition, not a rivalry. Cockpit is in the
line with the P3 concept and the “Fit 4
2010” program.

group sent the following message
