Glimpses of Stall and Stage Show
Uptown LA is not a place you can easily
forget. The name itself reminds you of
hazy evenings in LA, skateboard
acrobatics, sailing, bowling and just lazing
around in the park. For the Siemens
families that spent a day at this miniature
LA in the heart of Lahore it was a day well
spent with lots of activities and fun.
Bowling here is a lot of fun because of
the spacious bowling alleys, colorfully
decorated with video music tapes playing
to encourage the players to do their best.
It was here that the “Bowling for success”
tournament was held. The tournament
itself witnessed tough competition and
players demonstrated a drive for success
which is now a hall mark of all Siemens
employees.
A lot of other activities also took place
arranged by the management of Uptown
LA. This included magic shows, jumping
castle, face painting, palmist and others.
The rooftop was reserved for Business
Unit stalls that put their hearts and souls
in making these stalls the chief attraction
of the day. For the guests getting up to
the roof top might have required some
effort but at the end of the climb it was
well worth the effort. From parrots telling
your fortune to chancing your arm for a
prize and of course getting that family
portrait you have been forgetting for a
while (brilliant idea by PTD) there was so
much to do and so many prizes to win
that everyone nearly forgot all the other
entertainment available on the three
floors of this entertainment centre.
After many hours of fun at the stalls and
in the bowling alley the guests arrived at
the spacious auditorium of the club to
watch a dazzling stage show with such
performers as Sahir Lodhi (Compere)
Jawad Ahmed and Ashia Khan and Saeed
Siki with his own brand of comedy.
Singing competitions, Siemens ka Neelam
Ghar and many more activities were
conducted by the versatile Sahir Lodhi
who impressed everyone with his
outgoing nature and interaction with the
crowd. His conducting of the program
really added value to the whole show.

was held for three attractive Home
Appliances from Siemens.
