During the course of workshop on “Sustainable success
based on values” the trainers distributed seven
cards to each participant. Every card had a
value written on it and delegates were
asked to exchange values with each
other. An intense bargaining session
ensued in which people
bargained with each other
to trade off values.
Everyone learnt the
true value of their
values and the
values of
others.

Siemens donates one million Euro
to establish Chair at LUMS
During the recent visit of Prof. Dr. Klaus
Wucherer Member of the Corporate Executive
Committee and Member of the Managing Board
of Siemens A.G, Siemens donated a sum of one
million Euro for the establishment of a chair at
LUMS School of science and engineering. The
project director Mr. Khurram Afridi in a letter
to Mr.Sohail Wajahat MD and CEO Siemens
Pakistan thanked Siemens for their generous
contribution and said that the donation enables
LUMS to create a completely new model for
Science and Engineering education in Pakistan,
a world class research school that teaches our
students tomorrow’s science. Mr. Afridi in his
letter further stated that LUMS SSE will aim to
create opportunity and Siemens role in this is
crucial. It enables LUMS to reach students from
all socio, economic levels and provides them
access to a quality education, till now reserved
for a privileged few.
Siemens to deliver SAP ERP to Getz Pharma
Siemens will deliver SAP Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) system and
corresponding consulting services to Getz
Pharma for implementation at its
locations.
The agreement was signed at a prestigious
ceremony held in Karachi. Mr. Sohail
Wajahat H. Siddiqui, MD and CEO Siemens
Pakistan and Mr. Khalid Mahmood, MD
and CEO Getz Pharma signed the contract
on behalf of their respective organizations
in the presence of key management
representatives of both the companies.
As part of this project, Getz Pharma,
currently the 6th largest Pharma company
in Pakistan, would scrap its existing ERP
system from a renowned global vendor
to implement SAP’s core as well as new
dimension suite of ERP modules as
Financials, Supply Chain, MRP, Production
Planning, Business Intelligence, Human
Capital Management and Regulatory
Affairs. These modules together provide
end-to-end support to Getz business
processes enabling increased efficiencies,
better supply chain visibility and quicker
decision making. Siemens Pakistan would
offer complete SAP consulting and training
in this regard to Getz project team.

Our Managing Director Mr.Sohail Wajahat H.Siddiqui was invited as the chief guest at a seminar
organized by The Students Resource Centre at Bahria University. The topic of the seminar was
contemporary trends in Marketing. Mr.Sohail Wajahat in his key note address highlighted current trends
in marketing and special marketing techniques of Siemens as opposed to other companies based on
the B to B marketing needs of the company. Enthusiastic students of the university later exchanged
ideas with the MD. The Director of the university Mr.Ashfaq Agha appreciated the participation of
Mr.Sohail Wajahat Siddiqui and his in-depth knowledge on the subject.
