Aircraft for the first time for the Supplier Award<br />
in the year 2010: Reason for this was the fact that<br />
HTP Aircraft showed a lot <strong>of</strong> improvement and<br />
that the cooperation with FACC reached new<br />
heights as a result.<br />
It’s all a matter<br />
<strong>of</strong> lightness<br />
For FACC HTP Aircraft produces component<br />
groups and interior parts for business jet OEMs<br />
– original equipment manufacturers – like for<br />
example Bombardier and Embraer. Amongst<br />
others both companies jointly work on the Challenger<br />
300 by Bombadier as well as on the Phenom<br />
300 by Embraer. The latter is currently on<br />
high-fly when it comes to quantity. Embraer is<br />
now planning on introducing the Legacy 450 and<br />
the Legacy 500 new to the market. Here the focus<br />
is set once again on HTP Aircraft, who will care<br />
for the necessary transparency by means <strong>of</strong> their<br />
window component groups. Since the development,<br />
production and assembly <strong>of</strong> window component<br />
group – for business jets as well as jumbo<br />
jets – is one for the most important<br />

core competencies <strong>of</strong> HTP Aircraft. The<br />
fact that our division Aircraft is a high<br />
performer in the field <strong>of</strong> lightweight is<br />
proven with great success during the<br />
past years – and also for the <strong>future</strong> substantial<br />
enhancements in this area are planned.<br />
Looking forward<br />
Thanks to this positive development the cooperation<br />
between HTP Aircraft and FACC, in terms <strong>of</strong><br />
joint OEM projects reached new heights. To the<br />
same extent also the revenues in the spare parts<br />
business increased substantially, compared to<br />
last year’s figures. With the increasing number <strong>of</strong><br />
projects and deliveries also the said improvements<br />
were more and more portrayed, which in<br />
return once again had a very positive impact on<br />
customer satisfaction. This now serves as basis,<br />
to extend the further cooperation for new projects,<br />
like for example development projects and<br />
component groups for FACC’s scope <strong>of</strong> delivery<br />
for the A350 XWB.<br />
