HTI for you | Summer 2011 Prime time for the HTI share Fresh upwind for our share: As of May 23 the HTI share ascended to the prime market, the premium segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange and is hence continuously traded. In order to increase the attractiveness of the HTI share, CEO Peter Glatzmeier started his road show tour already the next day and introduced the HTI share to an interested investor audience. 1 May 24 Börse-Express Roadshow Already the next day after ascending to the prime market Peter Glatzmeier presented HTI in the course of the “Aktienforum” and “Börse-Express”, this time at the Polytec headquarters in Hörsching/Linz. Besides HTI and Polytec also AT&S, Palfinger and THI were present. 1 Peter Glatzmeier during his presentation Peter Glatzmeier was confident, that ‘an investment the HTI share has become more attractive through the ascent to the prime market, both for private as well for institutional investors‘. Glatzmeier was also satisfied with the development during the first quarter 2011. Within the first three months of the current business year the company has generated a positive period result after the economic crisis: Compared to the same period last year HTI generated an increase in revenues of 10.5% to 52.9 million EUR and a positive period result of 0.8 million EUR. Hence the period result
2 3 of the first quarter 2011 increased by 2.5 million Euro compared to the first quarter last year. “We have adjusted ourselves in all areas to the market conditions and now dispose of a structure that enables us to generate substantial growth with positive development of earnings under the given economic frame conditions”, says Glatzmeier, who expects “an increase in revenues of around 10%”. June 16 Austrian Small Cap Day On June 16 a total of thirteen companies, listed at the Vienna Stock Exchange resp. at the Budapest Stock Exchange, took the opportunity to introduce their company in the course of the “Austrian Small Cap Day” to a specialist audience of investors and analysts. Last year’s Austrian Small Cap Day was still reeling from the economic crisis, this year the presentations focused on future growth, innovations and investments as well as on objectives and strategies. Peter Glatzmeier presented the audience with an update about the development of HTI, which shows a clear increase in business activity in annual comparison. Despite very good utilization the technological group has not yet reached all of its targets. Thus Peter Glatzmeier looked to the future, especially to the year 2015. From this year on the company shall generate revenues of 300 million Euro with appropriate profitability. Geographically not least China is the center of Glatzmeier’s attention. There, HTI plans to “use the existing Joint Venture through the extension of new product fields, in order to widen the market position in China in cooperation with the local partner”, says the CEO. This development shall be boosted by the new 5-year-plan of the Chinese Government, including amongst others the construction of many residential homes, airports etc. Here for example, a lot of window profiles would be in demand ... Further road shows were done by HTI in the course of the capital increase, implemented in June. Issued were 6,039 million new shares at a fix issuing price of EUR 1.10. Peter Glatzmeier and Nikolaus Kretz were able to place all shares successfully – more than that, the capital increase was over-subscribed with 26%. Almost half of the new shares were subscribed by existing shareholders by exercising their subscription rights, the remaining ones were subscribed by new – mostly domestic – private investors. “The success of our capital increase despite a presently very volatile stock market environment is a very important proof of trust of the investors in our technological group”, says HTI CFO Nikolaus Kretz. 2 The audience at the Austrian Small Cap Day 3 Peter Glatzmeier and Nikolaus Kretz at a presentation in the course of the capital increase
