Uninterrupted passion
for the company
On July 31, 2011 Hermann Gatterbauer, manager of the HTI
Group company Hitzinger, celebrated his unbelievable 50 th
service anniversary. Since his first working day as an apprentice
in summer 1961 the trained electrical engineer has
stayed true to his company. HTI FOR YOU talked to him and
learned a lot about his apprentice- and work years, his
understanding of success and his objectives in the future:

“Training for the brain and
the heart” is the successful
recipe for a meaningful and
ambitioned work life. He
has got to know – since he
is a very good example – equally for humane and
cooperative acting. For more than 50 years today’s
manager for marketing and sales has been active,
providing all his sales’ talent, his managerial
qualities and his profound product knowledge of
everything in connection with “power at the right
moment”. But this is by far not all.
With his authentic way he has been involving
himself in numerous company-internal activities
from the beginning on. He also cares for the
personal contact with all people in his daily environment
and more than that, he also goes hiking
with his customers. Hermann Gatterbauer looks
back on 50 years of his passionate involvement in
the growth and wellbeing of Hitzinger. And despite
his great successes for Hitzinger he always
stayed firmly on the ground.
His CV is like taken from a picture book: It tells a
story of Hermann Gatterbauer, who started working
with Hitzinger at the age of only 14, as an
apprentice for electrical engineering, on July 31,
1961. 1965 he finished his final exams and continued
working for a few years in various positions
in the company. Already at this early stage the
sales managers at that time has had his eye on
him, since he appeared to be ideal for the sales
department. The fact that both gentlemen had
very good intuition was proven by Hermann Gatterbauer
during his years in the sales department,
especially since 1993, when he - in cooperation
with two colleagues -transformed the
company and led it to success within only a few
years. In the year 2008 he and his partners sold
their shares in the company to HTI High Tech
Industries AG and Hermann Gatterbauer has been
serving as manager for marketing and sales every
since.
