Every October,<br />
<strong>Northwestern</strong><br />
students dress up<br />
to welcome chubby-cheeked bears,<br />
fairies, robots and butterflies into<br />
the residence halls, accompanied<br />
by their parents (who are poorly<br />
costumed as college personnel). It’s<br />
a charming tradition—students<br />
sharing treats with their teachers’<br />
toddlers. Or maybe it’s sweet<br />
revenge—plying professors’<br />
progeny with enough sugar to turn<br />
them into little monsters.<br />
