Extended Medical Benefit (EMB) If you are in a regular position, EMB is available for personal illness beginning the fourth consecutive scheduled shift/day of<br />

Premium for working on designated holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving<br />
Day, and Christmas Day). Premium differential is paid at one half the base rate of pay for holiday shift work beginning at 11<br />
p.m. the night before the holiday through the end of the evening shift of the holiday except Christmas and New Year’s when it is<br />
extended to include the evening shift before the holiday.<br />
