Calling all budding journalists...
Do you have any articles you would like to
see in print? If so, please send them to
the Newsletter Editor, details on page
3, when they will be considered for the
next available issue.
Arrow
Scoring:
Inner
(Kill)
Outer
(Wound)
1st 20 16
2nd 14 10
3rd 8 4
On some targets a bonus
of four points is on offer if
the spot/ inner kill/pro ring
is hit with the first arrow
only, ie 1 for 20 becomes
1 for 24, but a 2 for 14
stays as a 2 for 14.
Do not remove arrows
before scoring has been
completed.
2012 NFAS National Champs
Arley Hall, Arley, near Northwich,
Cheshire
15th/16th September
THE clubs laying the courses for the 2012 National Champs at Arley
Hall are:
Cheshire Oak Bowmen
South Cheshire Field Archers
Seedfield Archers.
I would like to thank these clubs for volunteering their services, and
also Olde Delph Bowmen, Sabden Fold, Warcock and Derwynd, who
were also prepared to put on a course.
The support in Lancashire and Cheshire is much appreciated.
WHO’S WHO, and what they do...
FOLLOWING the article in the last newsletter, ‘I haven’t received my newsletter...’
and other common questions, further issues have come to light, not least that some
members obviously had not read the article at all!
So please take note of what to do, who to contact, etc as detailed below:
You have arranged/changed your club’s shoot date(s): Lewis Chuck, Shoot Organiser, who
will put the dates on the calendar before sending to the Newsletter Editor and Webby (for
the website). Do NOT send these details to the Newsletter Editor or Webby.
Contact details for your club have changed/your club’s details are not in the contacts
section (newsletter or web): Lewis Chuck, as above
You have changed your address: Richard Dobson, Membership Secretary. Richard will
update the database and this will then ensure you receive your newsletter. Do NOT contact
the Newsletter Editor.
You have not received your newsletter: Richard Dobson, Membership Secretary. Firstly,
check you did not tick the box to receive the newsletter electronically and secondly, check
your address details are up to date. If you are sure that neither of the above fit, please
contact Richard Dobson who will confirm your details on the database for you to receive
future copies. It is always possible your newsletter has been delayed in the post, so even if
you friend has received theirs, please wait a few days before contacting Richard. Do NOT
contact the Newsletter Editor.
It is important that you take note of the above as members of the committee are finding
that too much of their time is being wasted taking phone calls or forwarding emails because
you have not taken the time to check who you should be contacting.
