will alert participants what to look out for, and simple<br />

steps that seniors can take to prevent becoming a<br />

victim <strong>of</strong> a scam. Participants will also learn that scams come<br />

in many forms, over the telephone, in the mail, on your computer<br />

and also through your cell phone, targeting people <strong>of</strong> all<br />

ages, day and night.<br />

Several nutrients are poorly represented in the diets <strong>of</strong> many<br />

Americans and they <strong>of</strong>ten are unrecognized as being inadequate.<br />

The likelihood <strong>of</strong> inadequacy is much greater in the<br />

aging population for many reasons. This presentation will<br />

describe reasons for the problems associated with six <strong>of</strong> the<br />

key micronutrients in the aging population, and focus on some<br />

safe, easy and inexpensive nutrition adjustments with the potential<br />

to improve the picture significantly.<br />

means to be mentally healthy. It will examine how this concept<br />
