Casio Releases Limited Edition Red Bull Racing Watches
Special Models in the EDIFICE Line of Sporty Metal Watches
Hockenheim, July 22, 2010 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today the release of the
EFE-504RBSP and EF-550RBSP, two limited edition models in its EDIFICE line of sporty metal
watches designed to deliver the essence of speed and intelligence. The EFE-504RBSP and
EF-550RBSP are named for the popular Red Bull Racing Formula One team.
Red Bull Racing is a dynamic, young Formula One team that has been competing since 2005. The
team challenged for the Formula One Championship in 2009, when it gained six grand prix
victories. Having won five out of ten races so far this season, Red Bull Racing is currently fighting
for the top spot in the 2010 Constructors’ Championship.
Casio became an official Red Bull Racing Team Partner in 2009 and was delighted to continue
with the partnership this season. Casio provides support for the team, led by drivers Sebastian
Vettel and Mark Webber.
With the new models, Casio offers EDIFICE watches with needle and disk indicator stopwatch
timing, designed to reflect the dynamic image of motorsports. The watches feature the Red Bull
Racing logo on the watchface and are engraved with the words “CASIO is a Team Partner of Red
Bull Racing” on the back of the watch casing. Both model packages include a visual of RB6, the
Red Bull Racing Formula One car. In addition, the EFE-504RBSP comes with a special panel that
includes the same carbon material that’s used for Red Bull Racing’s Formula One cars.
Casio is also releasing the EFA-131RBSP, a limited edition Red Bull Racing model for the
European market featuring a watch face that has hands and an LCD.
Features of the EFE-504RBSP
• Small hand stopwatch measuring seconds at the 6 o’clock position and a disk stopwatch
measuring minutes at the 9 o’clock position.
• Watchface and bezel use carbon to give the watch an aggressive look
• Metal casing features a dynamic and chiseled look and the wristband is made of solid stainless
steel
• Features sapphire glass with a non-reflective coating
• Panel including the same carbon material used in the Red Bull RB6 machine and visual plate
showing the machine are included in the package

• Features a 1/20 second retrograde stopwatch at the 6 o’clock position
• Disk indicator turns red or blue—the Red Bull team colors—at day or night, depending on the
time
• Metal casing features a sporty shape and the wristband is made of solid stainless steel
• Visual plate showing the Red Bull RB6 machine is included in the package
Features of the EFA-131RBSP (in Europe only)
• Features a 1/1000 second stopwatch on LCD
• Features in-dial velocity calculation at the 9 o’clock position, giving the look of car
instrumentation
• World time displays the local time in 48 cities
• Metal casing features black IP (ion plating), and a lightweight resin band for a unified
appearance
