High-performance fourth generation Intel ®
Core CPUs
Robust industrial PCs with state-of-the-art Intel ® Core
processors of the fourth generation (formerly known as
"Haswell") with two or four cores are ideal for applications that
demand very high computing, graphic and video power. According
to the manufacturer, the Intel ® HD Graphics Controller 4600
integrated in the CPU provides a 3D power increase of up to
30 percent compared with the predecessor types of the third
generation.
Our portfolio already includes a number of Haswell-based
19-inch industrial computers and embedded systems from
the NanoServer ® family that convince with their highest
performance. Depending on the model, the modular
products are equipped with various fourth generation mobile
and desktop processors with the associated chipsets.
Intel ® Atom processor family with a
new microarchitecture
The EN-A3 model offers the first embedded system that
integrates a MiniITX board with the current Intel ® Atom
E3800 processor family (formerly known as "Bay Trail").
For the first time, four CPU cores and high-performance
graphics are available on the Atom processor platform. The
CPUs optimized for performance and low energy consumption
permit the fan-free operation of the small 200 x 200 x 51 mm box
IPC. This makes them ideal for interesting applications, such as
the control of remote industrial displays.
PCT multitouch screen and LED backlight
The PCT (projected capacitive touch) technology offers the
familiar ease-of-use known with smartphones also for
industrial display systems, while also satisfying the high
requirements that industry places on robustness and
longevity. The robust ultra-slim PN18-A2 panel PC is
equipped with a 47 cm (18.5 inch) TFT display with PCT
multitouch screen and LED backlight. The maximum
resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels with luminance of 300 cd/m². As
an alternative to the widescreen panel PC, a D18 multitouch
display with integrated A/D converter is available.

Hybrid cooling for long service life
Despite the high computing and graphic power of the
high-end A1 embedded systems, the hybrid cooling
concept allows them to be installed in a hermetically
closed housing. This makes the robust box IPCs also ideal for
operation in industrial environments subject to high dust
concentrations. The hybrid cooling ensures a long
service life of the systems, even at high ambient
temperatures.
