Scheme, which is accredited by<br />
<strong>Visit</strong>England.<br />
Many of the<br />

undertaken a<br />
more complete<br />
assessment as part of the<br />
National Quality Assurance<br />
Scheme operated by <strong>Visit</strong>England<br />
and the AA. These schemes use<br />
a star rating system of 1-5 stars;<br />
all rating levels offer clean, well-<br />
run accommodation with 5 stars<br />
indicating an exceptional degree<br />
of luxury.<br />
Under the AA scheme,<br />
Gold Stars are awarded<br />
to the best guest<br />
accommodation within the<br />
3, 4 and 5 star ratings.<br />
The <strong>Visit</strong>England<br />
scheme awards<br />
Gold and Silver to<br />
those that deliver<br />
a standard of<br />
service over and above<br />
their rating and the<br />
Breakfast Award to those<br />
whose breakfasts are of<br />
exceptional quality.<br />

particularly suited to visitors<br />
with special needs and these<br />
are recognised with the relevant<br />
symbols.<br />
