NORSOK standard og strukturen er i hovedsak av<br />

S355 karbonstål med syrefast stål/aluminium på<br />

spesielt utsatte områder samt deler av topsiden hvor<br />

tilkomst til maling og vedlikehold er vanskelig.<br />

Skroget er designet med plate tykkelse mellom 12 og<br />

25mm har en stålvekt på ca 24 000 tonn.<br />

Bølgebryter på hoved dekk og<br />

værbeskyttelse rundt prosessen<br />

Bølgebryteren mellom hoved og<br />

prosessdekket er utviklet for å gi<br />

tilfredstillende arbeidsmiljø og<br />

lufting men og kunne ta ut kraften<br />

av impuls laster fra grønn sjø opp<br />

mot 10 bars trykk.<br />

For prosessområdet er ikke grønn<br />

sjø en aktuell problemstilling men<br />

her er det arbeidsmiljø, miljøutslipp<br />

og eksplosjonssikkerhet som har<br />

satt krav til designet.<br />

Prosess område som er dekket<br />

med et tett tak og har perforerte<br />

vegger. Veggene er relativt tette i<br />

nedre del og blir gradvis mer åpne<br />
