2.1.5 Fracture Strength<br />

One quantitative measure of fracture toughness is the dynamic tear test, which is similar<br />

to the Charpy V-notch test, except that the specimen is larger. Czyryca <strong>and</strong> Vassilaros (1972)<br />

provide the values in Table 2-5, which were tested at –1 ºC (30 ºF).<br />
