2. Een enorm probleem voor de volgende generatie

“This interim analysis showed that, as expected, cognition and the ability to complete
activities of daily living of placebo-treated patients worsened. However, by these same
measures patients treated with semagacestat worsened to a statistically significantly
greater degree than those treated with placebo. In addition, data showed semagacestat is
associated with an increased risk of skin cancer compared with those who
received placebo”.

naar een film en een mechanisme
2. Heel precieze doelwitten voor de aanmaak van medicatie
3. Nieuwe inzichten in diagnose

Een voorlopige balans van de genetisch-biotechnologische
benadering: (1987-2010)
MAAR! Het verhaal is te simpel: we zien alleen
het tipje van de ijsberg!

Conclusies:
1. Alleen volharding kan tot een medicatie leiden
2. Nood van een geïntegreerde aanpak en mobilisatie! (denk aan Aids)

en een vroege behandeling gaan essentieel zijn

Belang van vroege diagnose en preventieve therapie
Wat lichaamsbeweging, gezonde voeding, een glaasje rode wijn,
hersengymnastiek,
gezond ouder worden is een goede raad en kost niets
En opgelet met “nieuws” in de krant of TV !
