Application for Co-Admission Program
The Co-Admission program allows Truckee Meadows Community College students to maintain an active student record at
University of Nevada, Reno while completing their associate degree at TMCC. The program is designed to facilitate timely degree
completion at both NSHE institutions. Participants receive academic advisement at both TMCC and University of Nevada, Reno.
Guidelines:
1. Students must begin their college career as a new student at Truckee Meadows Community College and must have earned
between 12-30 credits with a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
2. Enroll in a transferrable Associate's Degree program (e.g. AA/AS).
3. Students must have completed at least one college-level English and mathematics course.
4. Students must see an advisor at TMCC each semester and are strongly encouraged to meet with their Nevada advisor as well.
5. Students must enroll in coursework that is included in their advisor-approved graduation plan.
6. Students are expected to be full time students at TMCC and complete at least 18 transferable semester credits each school
year, and maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
7. Students agree to allow the exchange of transcript data between TMCC and Nevada.
8. The $60 application fee will be deferred until the student has matriculated to the University of Nevada, Reno.
9. Applicants must submit documentation of immunization, two doses of Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Diptheria/Tetanus within
the last ten years at the time of enrollment.
10. Please submit an unofficial transcript with this application.
11. Bring application to your TMCC advisor for approval.
12. Submit your Associate's Degree plan.
