DMS-AV 

Home Theater Amplifier / Processor 

The DMS-AV is a first of its kind in our industry, providing integrators the ability to tightly 

integrate home theater with whole-house control. This product possesses all the features and 

performance of a standalone AV processor, but is designed to be part of a URC Total Control 

system. Incorporating the best in AV specs, this component has far too many assets to list. For 

whole-house control, the DMS-AV connects to the MRX-10, and it works with Total Control® (TC) 

and Complete Control (CCP) interfaces. Install a long-term foundation piece that’s capable of 

growing with clients. Add other URC DMS Amps to the DMS-AV and they can enjoy streaming

In-Wall Color Touchscreen 

Enjoy adding a slick new TC interface to the mix! Featuring a 7-inch, 1024 x 600 full-color graphical 

screen, the TKP-7000 is an intuitive control device for things most important to your clients. 

The TKP-7000 offers full graphic feedback from both URC devices and compatible third-party 

devices. With URC cameras, the TKP-7000 can display live video. Experience a customizable 

status bar for at-a-glance desired info (weather, time, etc.), rooms menu for a snapshot of what’s 

happening everywhere, a shortcuts pop-up, and more. Every screen can be explored by simple 

finger “swipes!” The TKP-7000 is wall-mountable and fits conveniently in a dual-gang opening.

THZ-100 

Advanced Thermostat 

URC’s THZ-100 is a colorful, easy-to-integrate thermostat and is a new addition to URC’s Total 

Control lineup. With dozens of advanced features, the THZ-100 is a very smart choice for your 

installs. Clients can easily control the climate from anywhere on the network using TC remotes, 

keypads, touchscreens and iDevices. This beauty features intelligent comfort recovery, password 

protection and an optional wired remote sensor to increase efficiency and accuracy of 

temperature adjustments. Other notables include a brilliant, 2-inch color backlit LCD display 

and 5 fixed control buttons. 




TC 

iOS Total Control Mobile App 

This new mobile App enables users of Total Control® systems to access all the benefits of Total 

Control through three additional popular devices—the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch® over a 

LAN. With an intuitive GUI, clients can navigate favorite channels and control music, video, URC 

lighting, security and more. This App works with the MRX-10 Advanced Network System Controller, 

and is downloaded from the iTunes store. It’s then associated, by the Dealer, with the MRX-10 

using a URC setup code. Notably, there is no per-device fee. Up to 32 iDevices can be added to 

one system. 


MRX-20 

Advanced Onscreen Network System Controller 

The MRX-20 is a brand new, CEDIA-demonstrated addition to the Total Control line and offers 

superior onscreen display and control of entertainment, lighting, security, and more. The 

MRX-20 provides the features of the MRX-10 with the addition of an onscreen GUI which allows 

consumers to summon an onscreen overlay and control features—without interrupting what 

they’re watching. The MRX-10 and MRX-20 provide choice, with the MRX-20 for clients interested 

in HDMI switching and onscreen TV control. Onscreen menus are driven by URC’s new 

gyroscopic motion control remotes, the TRG-100 and TRG-200. With 10 IR ports, 4 RS-232 ports, 

4 relay and 4 sensor ports, 2 12-volt outputs, 3 HDMI inputs, and 1 HDMI output, this has it all. 

Multiple MRX-20s can be linked together for expansion! 

(Note: Gyroscopic uMotion Remotes are sold separately and work only with the MRX-20) 




TRG-100 and TRG-200 

Gyroscopic uMotion Remote Controls 

Also being demonstrated at CEDIA, these two new remotes work with the MRX-20 Advanced 

Onscreen Network System Controller. Both remotes offer URC’s new uMotion technology, 

a motion-based interface that enables users to simply move and point the remote naturally like 

a TV “mouse” to control the cursor on the big screen. The TRG-100 offers minimized buttons to 

create the most simple user experience. For clients seeking a richer experience, URC offers the 

TRG-200 advanced remote with direct numeric keys and sophisticated control features. 

(Note: Gyroscopic uMotion Remotes are sold separately and work only with the MRX-20) 


TRF-GE1 

Base Station / Extender 

Extend the RF! This compact base station acts as an extender for use with URC’s two new Gyroscopic 

uMotion Remote Controls, the TRG-100 and TRG-200. The TRF-GE1 greatly increases the 

range of these two remotes when they are controlling the MRX-20 and its onscreen GUI. This 

allows the onscreen motion control for the MRX-20 to work virtually anywhere in a project using 

a TRG-100 or TRG-200 uMotion remote control. RF range is 50 to 100 feet, depending upon the 

specific environment. And, with its size, this extender can be discretely tucked away anywhere. 




MRX-4IR 

Network Base Station 

The MRX-4IR is an elegant little solution for places you don’t want to run Cat5, use a separate 

remote, or where it doesn’t make sense to add an MRX Advanced Network Controller. Communicating 

over a network using Wi-Fi or a wired LAN connection, the MRX-4IR receives commands 

from the System Controller and relays them, via IR, to other devices in the system. This features 

4 IR flasher outputs and a front IR blaster. Use it to control ceiling-mount projectors or flat panel 

TVs over the fireplace. Plus, its small size allows it to fit into places where a traditional base station 

would not. 


ZR-2 

Transceiver / Repeater 

For use with the Total Control TRC-780 remotes, this repeater is a version of the ZR-1 that adds 

a direct wall AC plug per dealer requests. Acting as a range extender, it transmits and receives 

two-way communications from TRC-780 remotes and relays them to the MRX-10 Advanced 

Network System Controller. The ZR-2 incorporates an RF frequency of 2.4GHz and has a range of 

50 to 100 feet, depending upon the specific environment. 




CAM-DC0/CAM-DC1 

Surveillance Cameras 

The two newest Total Control surveillance cameras are handsome, compact and easy to deploy. 

Choose the unobtrusive indoor mini-dome, or the tough, vandal-proof outdoor dome camera – 

we have the right cam for every need. Models offer H.264/MJPEG compression, motion detection, 

web-based set-up, administration, control and upgrade, and all models feature a 32-bit 

embedded CPU running Linux. 


New MX-Series 

PC Programmable Remotes 

Check out our most recently introduced PC Programmable Remotes for the Complete Control 

Product line. Ranging from $299 up to $699, these offer the latest customizable remote solutions 

for the custom install pro. Our new waterproof, weather-resistant remote, the MXW-920, 

is ideal for not only kitchens, baths and showers, but also the great outdoors! The MX-780 has a

MX-890 

Programmable Remote 

A new addition to the MX family, the MX-890 is an IR / RF wand-style remote with a 2-inch LCD 

TFT screen and all the side and lower hard buttons to satisfy every control desire. This model 

has similar functionality to the highly popular MX-1200 and MX-880 and works with the same 

base stations. A step up from the MX-880, this remote’s LCD area can support 6 buttons, multiple 

graphical themes and custom graphics. Easily add regular buttons, fav channel icons, and all the 

flair you’re used to getting from URC. With the same macro features, text editing, and programming 

as the MX-1200, you’ll feel comfortable with this stellar remote from day one.

On the horizon is the iPad and iPhone App for URC’s renowned lineup CCP of products! The all 

new MX-iOS App enables control of all A/V components directly over the LAN. Aided by dazzling 

yet intuitive interfaces, your clients will be able to do everything from setting a DVR and navigating 

favorite channels to controlling music, URC lighting and much more. The MX-iOS App will 

work in conjunction with the URC MRX-1 Network Base Station and MX-remotes.
