COMPOSER AND PIANIST, Diego Marcelo Co latti was born in 1976 in Rosario, Argentin and had
his first piano lesson at the age of seven. From 1 92–1 98 he studied composition a the
Universidad Nacional de Rosario, as we l as in Buenos Aires. Since 2 0 Diego Co la ti has lived in
Austria, where he studied composition with Professor Detlev Mü ler-Siemens a the University of
Music and Performing Arts in Vie na. In su mer 2 01 he founded the ensemble ‘Minimal Tango’
with whic he made his radio débu the fo lowing October, in a progra me featuring his own
a rangement of Adios Nonino by Astor Pia zolla. This was also released on CD as part of the
compilation ‘Lange Nacht der Musik 2 02’.
Subsequently, in spring 2 03, his ensemble album ‘World Music Argentina’ was published by
Universal Edition, Vie na. A concert given by ‘Minimal Tango’ in October 2 03 has, since then,
b en broadcast numerous times on the radio. Since 2 03 Diego Co la ti has given regular concerts
at home and abroad and in 2 07, a CD of his own compositions a peared, ‘Mitologia Urbana’.

FLORIAN BRAMBÖCK
Florian Bramböck was born in Innsbruck, Austria in 1959. Bramböck studied saxophone at
the Innsbruck Conservatory, a the Musikhochschule in Graz, a the University of Miami and
with Ivan Roth in Basel. He was a member of the Vienna Art Orchestra for many years and
has also performed with Saxofour, Gansch and Roses and Die Erben. He is one of Austria’s
most significant Jazz musicians. As well as teaching at the University Mozarteum Salzburg,
the Music Education Department in Innsbruck and at the Anton Bruckner Private University
in Linz, he is known as a composer of numerous chamber and orchestral works.

world: Celtic music, alpine folk songs , Klezmer and the numerous varieties of Afro-Latin Jazz.

Der 1982 im mazedonischen Stip geborene Klarinettist
Hidan Mamudov erhielt mit neun Jahren seinen ersten
Klarinettenunterricht. Schon von klein auf war er stark
von der Volksmusik seiner Heimat beeinflusst. 2000
nahm er das Konzertfachstudium Klarinette bei Horst
Hajek an der Universität für Musik und darstellende
Kunst Wien auf und schloss es 2007 mit ausgezeichnetem
Erfolg ab. Auslandsstudien führten ihn für jeweils
ein Jahr an die University of Michigan (USA) zu Sydney
Forrest und nach Genf (Schweiz), wo er bei Thomas
Friedli studierte. Meisterkurse absolvierte er unter
anderem bei Petko Radev, Charles Neidich, Stanley
Drucker und Robert Spring. Zahlreiche Stipendien
und Preise runden seine künstlerische Laufbahn ab.
Besonders erwähnenswert sind das Stipendium der
Stiftung Dr. Robert und Lina Thyll-Dürr und das Bundesstipendium
der Republik Mazedonien. Außerdem
war er Finalist des Wettbewerbes Ciudad de Dos Hermanas
in Sevilla und Gewinner der Musikwettbewerbe
Jeunesse International Bukarest (Rumänien) und
Concours international de Riddes (Schweiz). Weltweite
Auftritte als Solist, Kammer- und Orchestermusiker.
Hidan Mamudov ist auch Bandmitglied der Wiener
Tschuschenkapelle und anderer Balkanformationen.
Born in Stip, Macedonia, in 1982, the clarinettist Hidan
Mamudov had his first clarinet lesson at the age of nine.
From a young age he was strongly influenced by the
folk music of his home country. In 2000 he began to
study clarinet under Horst Hajek at the University of
Music and Performing Arts Vienna and graduated with
distinction in 2007. He spent a year at the University
of Michigan (USA) under Sydney Forrest and another in
Geneva (Switzerland), where he studied under Thomas
Friedli. Masterclasses with teachers including Petko
Radev, Charles Neidich, Stanley Drucker and Robert
Spring complemented his studies. He has received
numerous grants and prizes, including the Dr. Robert
and Lina Thyll-Dürr Foundation Scholarship and a
National Scholarship of the Republic of Macedonia.
