Excellence Centre of Animal and Human Ecology and Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences Presov<br />
University in Presov, Slovak Republic invite you to a scientific conference with international participation<br />
„<strong>New</strong> Trends in the <strong>Biological</strong> and Ecological Research”, which will take place in Grand Hotel Kempinski<br />
High Tatras in Strbske pleso, Slovak Republic, on November 08 – 10, 2012.<br />
The scientific event will be held under the auspices of the Rector of Presov University Prof. Dr. Rene<br />
Matlovic and the Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences of University of Presov Assoc.<br />
Prof. Dr. Nadezda Krajcova. The conference will be held as one of many events organized in regard to the<br />
occasion of the 15th anniversary of Presov University in Presov.<br />
The aim of the conference<br />
The conference will bring together experts engaged in research and development of science in the fields<br />
of biology and ecology. Scientific results of the project „Completion of Excellence Centre of animal and<br />
human ecology with emphasis on improving the quality of scientific research – the 2nd stage“ (ITMS<br />
26220120041) will also be presented.<br />
The cultural program and excursions<br />
Thursday, 8.11.2012 at 19.00: Rout with cultural program in Grand Hotal Kempinski High Tatras.<br />
Saturday, 10.11.2012: Vocational excursion - participants will visit Agrokarpaty Plavnica Ltd. - company,<br />
which deals with growing, harvesting and post-harvesting processing of medicinal plants and herbal tea<br />
production. Excursion will continue with visit to monastery Červený Kláštor. The excursion program includes<br />
a lunch with degustation of Slovak food specialities. The fee is 25€ (does not apply to invited guests).<br />
Conference languages<br />
The official languages of the conference are: Slovak, Czech and English.<br />
Accommodation<br />
Discount prices for accommodation for the conference participants will be offered in agreement with the<br />
management of Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras (single Deluxe room for € 110.00 per night and double<br />
Deluxe room for € 130.00 per night, including breakfast and entry to Zion Spa and Fitness Centre). The<br />
organizing committee will carry out accommodation booking according to the interest of participants.<br />
Registration<br />
Registration is possible until the beginning of the conference and on site. It is required to provide notice<br />
of payment issued by your bank during the registration. Active participation is not possible anymore.<br />
Conference fees<br />
Conference fee includes: coffee, tea and refreshments during breaks and lunch for two days, book of<br />
abstracts and publishing of full text articles. Conference fees: Participants – 130€, Students – 65€.<br />
