Anticipated future developments in the activities of Živnostenská banka, a.s.<br />
In 2005, Živnostenská banka, a.s. expects stable developments in its financial situation,<br />
continuing the trend of the previous three years.<br />
Subject of business of Živnostenská banka, a.s. as per the Articles of Association<br />
Activities resulting from the banking licence:<br />
- the performance of the activities specified in the Act on <strong>Bank</strong>s in Section 1, letter<br />
a) acceptance of deposits from the public,<br />
b) provision of credits<br />
- the performance of the activities specified in the Act on <strong>Bank</strong>s in Section 1 (3), letter<br />
a) investments in securities for own account,<br />
b) financial leases,<br />
c) money transmission services and settlement of payments,<br />
d) issuance and administration of means of payment,<br />
e) provision of guarantees,<br />
f) opening of letters of credit,<br />
g) arrangement of payment collection,<br />
h) provision of investment services including<br />
- the principal investment service under Section 8(2)(a) of Act No. 591/1992 Coll; on<br />
Securities, as amended (the “Securities Act”), reception and transmission of orders<br />
relating to investment instruments on the client´s account, that being in respect of the<br />
investment instruments under Section 8a (1)(a) through (g) of the Securities Act,<br />
- the principal investment service under Section 8(2)(b) of the Securities Act, execution<br />
of orders relating to investment instruments on a foreign account, that being in respect<br />
of the investment instruments under Section 8a(1)(a) through (g) of the Securities Act,<br />
- the principal investment service under Section 8(2)(c) of the Securities Act, trading in<br />
investment instruments on own account, that being in respect of the investment<br />
instruments under Section 8a(1)(a) through (g) of the Securities Act,<br />
- the principal investment service under Section 8(2)(e) of the Securities Act, subscription<br />
in respect of issues of investment instruments or placement od such issues, that being in<br />
respect of the investment instruments under Section 8a(1)(a) through (g) of the<br />
Securities Act,<br />
- supplementary investment services under Section 8(3)(a) of the Securities Act,<br />
safekeeping and administration of one or several investment instruments, that being in<br />
