Fixed asset investment The charitable company (UNICEF UK) owns the whole of the issued ordinary share capital of the subsidiary (UNICEF UK Enterprises Limited), a company registered in England and Wales: 2010 2009 £'000 £'000 20,000 £1 ordinary shares UNICEF UK Enterprises Limited at cost 20 20 UNICEF UK Enterprises Limited is used for non-primary purpose trading activities. All activities have been consolidated on a line by line basis in the statement of financial activities. Available profits are donated by Gift Aid to UNICEF UK.
