2009–12 as ‘the provision
of comprehensive
quality health and
social services in the
home and community
in order to promote,
restore and maintain
people’s maximum
level of comfort, social
functioning and health’.
This programme, run
jointly by the departments
of Health and Social
Development, aims
to facilitate access to
comprehensive services,
including health and
social services, to
promote, restore and
maintain the individual’s
level of comfort, function
and health, including care
and support to the family
members.
