Thuthuzela Care<br />
Centres are one-stop<br />

Community Affairs Unit.<br />
They are, however,<br />
facilitated by multiple<br />
partners, including the<br />
departments of Justice,<br />
Health, Education,<br />
Treasury, Correctional<br />
Services, SAPS, Social<br />
Development <strong>and</strong><br />
designated civil society<br />
organisations.<br />
They are multi-purpose<br />
‘one-stop’ integrated<br />
centres of care <strong>and</strong><br />
support <strong>for</strong> victims of<br />
sexual abuse.<br />

The centres are<br />
established under<br />
the leadership of the<br />
NPA’s Sexual Offences<br />
<strong>and</strong> Community<br />
Affairs Unit.<br />
They are, however,<br />
run <strong>and</strong> <strong>services</strong> are<br />
provided by a range<br />
of collaborating<br />
partners, including the<br />
departments of Justice,<br />
Health, Education,<br />
Treasury, Correctional<br />
Services, SAPS,<br />
Social Development<br />
<strong>and</strong> designated civil<br />
society organisations.<br />
They are primarily donor<br />
<strong>funded</strong> <strong>and</strong> there are 17<br />
