caregiver of a child<br />

whose parent(s) are<br />

deceased to claim a CSG<br />

to care <strong>for</strong> the child.<br />

Registering<br />

married in a civil<br />

marriage, they will<br />

receive a marriage<br />

certificate from the<br />

marriage officer, free of<br />

charge.<br />

The marriage is<br />

registered by the DoHA.<br />

Marriage certificates are<br />

important <strong>for</strong> children<br />

in the family as they<br />

will be required when<br />

registering the birth of<br />

a child, when applying<br />

<strong>for</strong> a CSG <strong>and</strong> when<br />

applying <strong>for</strong> death<br />

benefits in the event of<br />

the death of a married<br />

caregiver.<br />
