Reconstructing past developments and dynamics
of lowland rainforests in Jambi province
Current status / Activities:
- First field work campaign completed (three sediment
cores have been taken and moved to University
of Goettingen)
- The three cores have been described lithologically
and tested for pollen and Testate amoebae
contents
- First set of six samples selected for AMS radiocarbon
analysis
- Second field work campaign ongoing (summer
2013): pollen traps installation in the joint
