Evolution of the Plan
The structure of this project plan is in compliance with the recommendations of IEEE Std. 1058-
1998. The project plan will be maintained in Microsoft Project 2000, and will be disseminated
both electronically and in hardcopy (where needed) by the contracted project manager. The
contractor for this project will manage the project plan in cooperation with the BOH and be
responsible for its configuration management process.
After initial release of the draft plan, the contracted project manager will be responsible for
maintaining the “master” project plan, and all earlier versions will be retained through the
configuration process (check in / check out). A review protocol will be developed in the
communication plan that will outline the process by which the plan is to be modified.
