MATA Scholarship Application (PDF)<br />

<strong>The</strong> MATA <strong>of</strong>fers two <strong>scholarships</strong> <strong>to</strong> undergraduate students enrolled in Athletic Training Education<br />

Programs: <strong>The</strong> Wes Jordan Scholarship and <strong>The</strong> Carl Nelson Scholarship. Candidates must <strong>have</strong> a minimum<br />

GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, <strong>been</strong> a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> MATA for at least one year prior <strong>to</strong> applying, and should <strong>have</strong><br />

served with distinction as part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir program.<br />

<strong>The</strong> NATA Research and Education Foundation <strong>of</strong>fers an undergraduate (available <strong>to</strong> juniors enrolled in an<br />

ATEP) and masters (available <strong>to</strong> seniors intending <strong>to</strong> pursue graduate school in 2005-06) <strong>scholarships</strong> in <strong>the</strong><br />

amount <strong>of</strong> $2,000 each. Candidates must <strong>have</strong> a minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale and must <strong>have</strong> <strong>been</strong> a NATA<br />

member for at least one year prior <strong>to</strong> application.<br />
