AHBAI is accepting scholarship applications from college-bound students through it's Fred Luster, Sr. Education Foundation. Scholarships will be awarded in the amounts of $250 and $500. Winners will be selected based on their academic achievement, school activities and extracurricular activities. To be eligible for a scholarship: Candidates must be college-bound high school seniors enrolled at a four-year college, majoring in chemistry, business or engineering. A minimum 3.0 grade point average (4.0 scale) and two letters of recommendation, proof of income (W2) are also required. The Fred Luster, Sr. Education Foundation was established by the AHBAI Board of Directors in 1991 in honor of the late Fred Luster, Sr., a founding AHBAI board member and founder of the Chicago-based Luster Products, Inc. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $235,000 in scholarships. • AICPA - John L.
