Awards grants to low-income women who have a vision of how their education will benefit themselves, their
families, and their communities. The funds are not limited to just tuition expenses, but can also be used for
books, supplies, transportation, childcare, or any other living expenses. Eligibility Requirements: * An applicant
for a JRF grant must be: * A woman, age 35 or older * A U.S. citizen * Attending, or accepted to, an
accredited school * Pursuing a technical/vocational education, an associate's degree, or a first bachelor's degree

This is a private, benevolent endeavor established ten years ago with the help of a Canadian/American
benefactor. Financial assistance is available to full-time students in both Canada and the United States. Full
Canadian or American citizenship is a requirement, available to both male and female students for all areas of
post-secondary study. A minimum GPA of 2.7 is required. Criteria other than strictly academic ability and
financial need are considered in the selection process. Selected students will receive up to $3,000. Filing date

A student currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program is qualified to apply for the
KASF scholarship. The scholarship recipient is selected on the basis of financial need, academic achievement,
school activities, and community services. Each applicant must submit an application to the respective KASF
region, in which each region is designated by the state where school is located.
